The Deputy Labour Minister delivered “Pansuk Bags from the Department of Skill Development, on the occasion of Mother’s Day, on August 12, 2021” to 47 employees of the Civil Service Commission to relieve suffering during the COVID-19 pandemic.
On August 11, 2021, Deputy Labour Minister Prof. Narumon Pinyosinwat presided over the presentation of Pansuk Bags from the Department of Skill Development, on the occasion of the National Mother’s Day, on August 12, 2021. The bags were given to service contractor staff, consisting of security guards, cleaning workers, drivers, and gardeners on duty at the Ministry of Labour’s Department of Skills Development (DSD), to a total of 47 people, aiming to help alleviate the suffering for employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Pansuk Bags contain consumer goods necessary for daily living, including rice, canned fish, instant noodles, chicken eggs, and necessary equipment for self-protection from the spread of COVID-19, including face masks and alcohol spray, useful in staying vigilant throughout the situation.
Prof. Narumon said that from the current COVID-19 situation, everyone is affected in different ways. The DSD has collected money from a group of civil servants and staff under the Department of Skill Development to purchase consumer goods and share kindness to service contractors who perform their duties regularly. The initiative aims to help alleviate the cost of living and provide materials and equipment to prevent COVID-19. The Deputy Labour Minister thanked all involved parties who have reached out to help each other in times of trouble. It shows that Thai people are kind, don’t abandon each other, and are always ready to help.
“Although no one knows when the COVID-19 situation will end, I can feel the kindness givers that have passed on goods to relieve the suffering of the recipient. I would like to encourage government officials, officers, and all personnel to perform their duties to the best of their ability, and we will get through this crisis together,” concluded the Deputy Labour Minister.
