Deputy PM Shows Concern for Din Daeng Flat Community and Instructs Labour Minister to Distribute 100,000 Masks to Prevent Covid-19

          Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin reported that Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan is concerned about community members in the Din Daeng flats suffering from the Covid-19 situation. He, therefore, assigned the Labour Minister’s Advisor to visit the Din Daeng Housing Community 2 to hand out face masks to almost 30,000 flat residents. The masks are a necessity for daily use to prevent Covid-19.

          Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin revealed that due to the Covid-19 situation, Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and the Ministry of Labour under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, is concerned about the workforce affected and suffering from Covid-19 situation. Therefore, the Labour Minister assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, to visit the Din Daeng Housing Community 2 to hand out masks. Mr. Wichan Khiaokaew, the Chairman of the Din Daeng Housing Community 2, received the donations. The Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics), Mrs. Thienrat Navamawat, and Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mrs. Tongjai Suthat Na Ayutthaya, also joined the occasion at the multipurpose courtyard area of Din Daeng Community Housing 2.

          Mrs. Thiwalrat said that today, she was assigned by Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin to visit the Din Daeng Housing Community 2 to give 100,000 masks to the community president to distribute to people affected and suffering from the Covid-19 situation. The Ministry of Labour has received support and coordination from the private sector and various groups of people such as PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited, the Thai Overseas Employment Association, Thai Nippon Steel Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd., TMCL Management Co., Ltd., Sak Siam International Co., Ltd., HIP Digital Co., Ltd., HIP Security Cloud Co., Ltd., and Khun Daoruang Lekvoranan, who joined together to help provide missing or necessary things for the people. The masks were brought to the Ministry of Labour to deliver to the people and medical personnel in preventing Covid-19 to the people of the Din Daeng flat, which has nearly 30,000 community members.
