Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin reported that Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan is concerned for the youths from the three southern border provinces who traveled to work in Phetchaburi, following the systematic labour movement project. He assigned his Advisor to visit the area to deliver a package of generosity and halal food from the Thai Red Cross Society to support the fight against Covid-19.
On June 2, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin reported amid the Covid-19 outbreaks, the government under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and the Ministry of Labour under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, are concerned for the youths from the three southern border provinces who traveled to work in Phetchaburi, following the systematic labour movement project. The project is a collaboration between the Ministry of Labour’s agencies in the southern border provinces, the Phetchaburi Provincial Administration, and the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center. The Labour Minister assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, to visit Phetchaburi to donate a package of generosity from the Thai Red Cross Society and halal food for southern border youths, company employees amid the Covid-19 outbreaks. The occasion took place at the Bang Khem Public Park and the 15th Military District, Mueang Phetchaburi, Phetchaburi Province.
Mrs. Thiwalrat said that today, she was assigned by Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin to visit Phetchaburi to donate a package of generosity and halal food from the Thai Red Cross Society to employees in the workplace affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Thai Red Cross Society coordinated the Ministry of Labour to provide support with the packages of generosity, which is halal food for youths from the southern border to eat. President of the Phetchaburi Provincial Red Cross Office, Station 8, and heads of departments under the Ministry of Labour in Phetchaburi also joined as representatives in giving the packages to worker representatives from the three southern border provinces. Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, who supervises the Ministry of Labour, expressed his concern for the youths from the southern border provinces who work for companies based in Phetchaburi to boost morale and encouragement in the fight against Covid-19, to overcome the pandemic together.
