Director-General of the Department of Employment jointly solves the problem of the employment contract for Thai workers with the executive of the Organization of Population and Immigration Authority at Israel.

              From 12 to 13 February, 2012, Mr. Pravit Khiengpol, Director- General of the Department of Employment, together with his team, namely, Mr. Chokchai Sritong Deputy Director-General, and Mr. Suthi Sukosol, Director of Thailand Overseas Employment Administration went to Israel to meet with Mr.Aharon Barazani, the Director of the Organization of Population and Immigration Authority, and senior administrators at Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to consult on drafting standard employment contract for the placement of Thai workers under the project of Thailand-Israel Cooperation on the placement of workers (TIC) since there were some terms that would cause disadvantage to Thai workers such as temporary job rotation. Besides, Director-General of Department of Employment had concerned on what agency had authority to assist Thai workers who already entered into Israel before the placement of Thai workers under this project. In this regard, the Israel officials agreed to resolve all concerns raised by the Thai party as well as taking care of Thai workers who have been working in Israel although they did not enter into Israel under the TIC project. According to the visit, Director-General of Department of Employment and the team had also visited Thai workers at Kibbutz Kalia and Moshav Olez as well as providing sport equipment as moral support.
