Today (February 7, 2020) at 15.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol assigned the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mrs. Pattana Phanfak as a panelist at the 10th ADBI-OECD – ILO Roundtable on Labour Migration in Asia: Future Migration in Asia: Challenges and Opportunities in the Next Decade. The topic was on exchanging experience in working conditions, especially improving working conditions in the fishery and seafood processing industries, through the Ship to Shore Rights Cooperation Program. Panelists consisted of representatives from the European Union to Thailand, experts in labour management and inspection, the International Labour Office in Asia and the Pacific, representatives from Thai Union Group PCL, and representatives from Indonesia. The occasion took place at the Pullman King Power Hotel in Bangkok.
