It’s On! Job EXPO 2025 Kicks Off: Labour Minister Leads the Launch of Thailand’s Biggest Job Fair of the Year, Offering More than Just Employment Opportunities, Creating Careers and Preparing Thai Workers for the Future

June 6, 2025, 14.00 hours – Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labour, presided over the opening ceremony of JOB EXPO THAILAND 2025: More Than Just a Job Fair, an event designed to create job opportunities and promote sustainable income and careers for people of all ages and groups. Mr. Somchai Morakotsriwan, Director-General of the Department of Employment, delivered the event overview. Mr. Siraphop Duangsodsri, Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Aree Krainara, the Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Mr. Phuchong Worasri, assigned to the Office of the Prime Minister and currently serving at the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, Chairman of the Advisory Board to the Minister of Labour, Mr. Phumipat Mueanchan, the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson, Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, Permanent Secretary of Labour, Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, and Mr. Santi Nantasuwan, the Deputy Permanent Secretaries of Labour, along with senior executives of the Ministry of Labour also attended. The event was held at Halls 5–6, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Khlong Toei, Bangkok.

The Ministry of Labour organized JOB EXPO THAILAND 2025 under the theme “More Than Just a Job Fair” to help people of all ages find appropriate career paths that ensure income and social security. This year, the focus is on creating a comprehensive and accessible job-hunting experience that meets the needs of all target groups. Attendees can expect more than just job opportunities; they will gain career knowledge, skill-building experience, and inspiration to build a better future for themselves.

Highlight zones and activities at the Expo include:

  • Job Matching Zone: A one-stop area for new graduates, unemployed individuals, or job seekers, offering over 500,000 domestic job vacancies from 172 leading companies and 100,000 overseas job openings. Employment services are also available via the “ThaiMeeNganTum” and “KhonThamNgan” mobile apps.
  • Elderly & Persons with Disabilities Zone: Job openings suitable for individual capabilities and potential.
  • Upskill/Reskill Zone: For those looking to acquire new skills to unlock more job opportunities and increase their income.
  • Freelance Job Demonstration Zone: Showcasing top franchise products, home-based work, and community-based freelance projects (One Tambon, One Occupation Group) to support additional income streams.
  • Education & Career Guidance Zone: Targeted at students and youth entering the labour market, with opportunities to explore the “right course and right career,” including career counseling clinics and aptitude tests.
  • Inspiration Talk Zone: Featuring top-tier national speakers sharing essential career skills and insights on future labour trends.
  • SSO Market 2025 Zone: A career marketplace featuring diverse occupations, ideal for those exploring secondary incomes. This zone also provides updates on Social Security benefits for insured persons.
