Labour Chairs Royal Kathin Cloth Ceremony for MOL in 2020 at Trithammaram Temple, Phra Aram Luang, Surat Thani

         On October 18, 2020, at 10.00 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin presided over the ceremony to present the Kathin robe of the Ministry of Labour for 2020 at Trithammaram Temple, Phra Aram Luang, Talat, Muang Suratthani, Suratthani. It is the royal grace that His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn has graciously assigned the Ministry of Labour to receive the Kathin cloth, to be presented. Governor of Surat Thani, the Ministry of Labour’s executives, officials, civil servants, and representatives from various agencies in Surat Thani, and the people, joined in making donations and the ceremony. The total amount bestowed upon by the Ministry of Labour was 1,959,269 Baht.
         Trithammaram Temple is located on 246/1, Talat, Muang Suratthani, Suratthani, under the Maha Nikai. The land located at the temple has an area of 6 rai 2 ngan. The north area is listed on Preida Rat road and the people’s houses, the south takes a village, the east takes on the new market road, and the west takes on the road in front of the city. Buildings consist of a chapel built in 1959, which is a reinforced concrete building. There is a sermon hall which is a reinforced concrete building with 12 monastic clusters built in 1958. It is a half-timbered building. There is also a monk hall and a bell tower, with one Buddha image in the posture of enlightenment built with concrete. The size of the lap is 3 wah, 2 cubits, 4 wah and 8 inches tall. Inside contains the Buddha’s relics, enshrined under the Sri Maha Bodhi tree called “Phra Bodh Puttakhayanusorn”.
