Labour Minister and MSDHS Visits Chonburi to Give Keys to Baan Eua Arthorn Supporting the Workforce to have Homes

                The Labour Minister, together with the Minister of Social Development and Human Security visited Chonburi at Baan Eua Arthorn Sriracha 1, Surasak, Sriracha, Chonburi, following the government’s policy to unite Thailand together.

                On August 24, 2020, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin together with the Minister of Social Development and Human Security visited Baan Eua Arthorn Sriracha in Surasak, Sriracha, Chonburi. The occasion gave over the keys to one tenant of the “Inexpensive Homes all over Thailand 999” project. The project that is one that is completed, joining the “Our Homes Go Together” project which has operated in all 7 provinces in industrial zone areas. The initiative is ​ in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, including Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Samut Prakan, Samut Sakhon, Saraburi, and Pathum Thani provinces, totaling 1,016 units.

                The Labour Minister continued that Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha had ordered the Ministry of Labour to care for the workers to have a good quality of life, as the workforce is a major part of the country’s economic development. In the past, many workers were affected by Covid-19. He assigned departments under the Ministry of Labour to conduct a survey among the workforce affected by Covid-19 with the goal of ensuring they directly benefit from this program. This will greatly reduce the burden of household expenses, allowing the workforce to have their own homes. There are about 1,000 units now. If the workforce demands more, the Ministry of Labour will coordinate the Ministry of Social Development for further allocation.
