Labour Minister Assigns Advisor to Check Facility Preparations for COVID-19 Vaccinations in Phetchaburi Before Services Start on July 15

          On July 1, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to visit Phetchaburi to meet and discuss facility preparations for COVID-19 vaccination services for Section 33 insured persons, together with responsible officials. The vaccination will begin on July 15. The Social Security Office’s Inspector-General Mr. Montri Karthamat, and related persons attended the meeting at the meeting room on the 2nd floor of the Social Security Office Building, Phetchaburi. The meeting jointly considered exploring the area to be used as a vaccination service point which received cooperation from Robinson, Phetchaburi provincial branch, to use as a place to vaccinate Section 33 insured persons.

          Mrs. Thiwalrat said that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayut Chan-ocha, has set COVID-19 vaccinations as a national agenda. The Ministry of Labour, under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, has concerns for the workforce. The Labour Minister thus assigned her to visit the area to discuss facility preparations for COVID-19 vaccinations to control the spread of the pandemic, promoting group immunity to conquer the COVID-19 situation together.
