Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to deliver Wang Wang branded dehydrated food products from Bai Li Enterprise Co., Ltd., the company representatives, to boost morale among quarantined employees and medical personnel in the fight against Covid-19 in Prachuap Khiri Khan.
May 9, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to visit Prachuap Khiri Khan to distribute snacks from Bai Li Enterprise Co., Ltd., which was Wang Wang branded crispy fried rice with dried vegetable and fruits, to the Head of Human Resources from Quality Pineapple Products Co., Ltd., Ms. Witchuda Kluang. The occasion took place at the Prachuap Khiri Khan Social Security Office, Hua Hin Branch. The snacks will be delivered to staff and medical personnel providing the proactive Covid-19 screening, including employees infected with Covid-19 and quarantined in the field hospital and employees who did not have the virus but are quarantined at the establishment. Heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Prachuap Khiri Khan also participated in this occasion.
Mrs. Thiwalrat said that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and the Ministry of Labour under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan is concerned about the workforce amid the Covid-19 outbreak due to the widespread of the pandemic and the increasing infection rate. Prachuap Khiri Khan Province reported progress on cases of infection in Quality Pineapple Products Co., Ltd. The Prachuap Khiri Khan Communicable Disease Committee meeting on May 7, 2021, at Provincial Public Health Office, provided proactive Covid-19 testing for the 225 company employees, whereby 95 cases of infection were found. Most of the cases were Myanmar nationals. The Provincial Administration has operational guidelines closing the establishment, not allowing people in or out of the premises. It has also established a field hospital, or factory hospital/quarantine, whereby all employees shall be quarantined within the establishment, isolating infected employees to be treated at a field hospital. Employees who are not detected with the virus or show symptoms must be quarantined within the establishment.
Mrs. Thiwalrat continued that today, she was assigned by Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin to visit the area to monitor the situation and deliver Wang Wang branded dehydrated food products from Bai Li Enterprise Co., Ltd., to the Head of Human Resources at Pineapple Products Co., Ltd. at the Prachuap Khiri Khan Social Security, Hua Hin Branch. The goods were distributed to the staff and medical personnel who are dedicated to fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, providing proactive Covid-19 screening, including employees who were detected positive with Covid-19 and quarantined in field hospitals, and employees who were not detected with Covid-19 quarantined at the establishment.
