On June 17, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to visit Phetchaburi to provide medical kits, snacks, drinking water, and alcohol gel to support medical personnel and front-line staff in controlling and preventing the spread of Covid-19. The occasion occurred at the Auditorium of Khao Yoi District Office, Khao Yoi District, Phetchaburi Province, the Sawang Sanphet Thammasathan Rescue Center in Phetchaburi, the Buddhist Charity Association of Thailand, Tha Rap Subdistrict, Mueang Phetchaburi District, Phetchaburi Province. The Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics), Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat, and the heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Phetchaburi Province, Khao Yoi District Public Health Office, and volunteers from the 904 programs, also participated in the event. Mrs. Thiwalrat said that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayut Chan-ocha, the provision of Covid-19 vaccinations is a national agenda. In addition, the Ministry of Labour, under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, is concerned about the workforce.
Mrs. Thiwalrat said that Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin cared for everyone getting their Covid-19 vaccinations and encouraged medical personnel and dedicated front-line staff to sacrifice themselves to perform the work to the best of their ability. Today, the Labour Minister assigned her to visit the area to give out medical kits and snacks to support medical personnel in controlling and preventing the spread of Covid-19. The effort requires cooperation from all sectors involved, including the public and private sectors. It will help reduce the spread of Covid-19 in factories and workplaces and build immunity among workers to bring the situation back to normal for the business sector to move forward quickly.
