On June 11, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin and Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan visited Phetchaburi to encourage people to get vaccinated to create Covid-19 immunity in Huai Long, Nong Chumphon, Nong Chumphon Nuea, Sa Phang, Khao Yoi, and Bang Khem Subdistricts. The Phetchaburi Employment Office also joined the occasion at the Khao Yoi District Office’s auditorium and Khao Yoi District Hospital.
Mrs. Thiwalrat said that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, has set Covid-19 vaccinations as a national agenda. The Ministry of Labour, under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, is concerned about the workforce. Therefore, the Labour Minister assigned her to go to the area to support those getting Covid-19 vaccinations to control outbreaks. She also gave words of encouragement to medical personnel providing the Covid-19 vaccination services, helping to control the pandemic and create community immunity to overcome the Covid-19 situation together.
In the afternoon of the same day, the Labour Minister’s Advisor attended a meeting with the village headman and community leaders to understand issues of bringing people to get vaccinated to prevent Covid-19, including the opening of the Cal-Comp factory. Along with this, the Khao Yoi District Public Health Office distributed Fah-Talai-Jone to share with the community members.
