Labour Minister Assigns Advisor to Provide Compensation to Family of Two Insured Persons Who Died from the Building Fire and Collapse in Krisada Nakhon Village 31

          Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan visited the area to provide compensation for funeral expenses the families of two people who died from the fire at the house building collapse in Krisada Nakhon Village 31, Borommaratchachonnani Road. The occasion took place at the Saladaeng Temple, Moo 6, Bang Waek Road, Bang Phai, Bang Khae, Bangkok.

          On April 5, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, gave compensation to the families of those who died in the house fire building collapse within Krisada Nakhon Village 31 Borommaratchachonnani Road. The occasion took place at the Saladaeng Temple, Moo 6, Bang Waek Road, Bang Phai, Bang Khae, Bangkok. The Social Security Office’s Inspector-General Mr. Nanthachai Panyasurarit, and Advisor to the Director of Bangkok Social Security Office Area 6 Ms. Jirapa Boonrat, also participated in this event. The Labour Minister’s Advisor said that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and the Ministry of Labour under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, shared his condolences to the relatives of the deceased and showed concern for the employees injured in the fire and building collapse. Therefore, today, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned her to visit the area to compensate for funeral expenses to the families of two deceased employees. The families are entitled to compensation in the event of death from the Social Security Fund. The first is Mr. Suthat Pliengklad, whereby his family will receive 50,000 Baht for funeral expenses and 82,800 Baht in compensation for death, and a pension fund in the event of death of 132,884.03 Baht, for a total of 265,684.03 Baht. The amount will be given to his mother. The second case is Mr. Orapon Tuamthong. The family will receive a pension fund in the event of death, totaling 12,223.12 Baht.

          Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan said that Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin also raised his concern to the injured insured workers and expressed condolences to the relatives of those who died from the incident. He has instructed his Advisor and the Social Security Office to promptly monitor the assistance provided to the deceased insured persons’ families. Today, the Advisor was assigned to give the compensation to help the families of two deceased insured persons. She expressed condolences to the relatives of Mr. Somanya Nilthong, who died from this incident as well.
