Labour Minister Assigns Advisor to Visit Covid-19 Vaccination Center for Section 33 Insured Persons at Chang Chui Market and Big C Dao Khanong

          On June 7, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, paid a visit and gave encouragement to insured persons vaccinated at the Covid-19 Vaccination Center for Section 33 Insured Persons in Bangkok, at the Chang Chui Market, and Big C Parking Lot, Dao Khanong, Thonburi. He said that the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense, and the Ministry of Labour under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, are concerned for the workforce, especially those insured under Section 33 of the Social Security System. In line with the government’s urgent policy to accelerate vaccinations to prevent and control the spread of Covid-19 as a national agenda, the Ministry of Labour’s Social Security Office was instructed to work with the Ministry of Interior, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Ministry of Public Health by the National Health Security Office (NHSO), the Ministry of Finance by Krung Thai Bank and social security network hospitals, to provide Covid-19 vaccinations to insured persons under Section 33. The vaccinations will be administered between June 7 to 26.

          Mrs. Thiwalrat said that Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin is concerned about workers insured under Section 33. Today, the Labour Minister assigned her to visit the area and encourage those being vaccinated against Covid-19. The Chang Chui market facility can vaccinate 1,000 people per day. The site is supported by medical personnel from the Panya Hospital as a service provider. Big C Parking Lot in Dao Khanong has the potential to vaccinate 1,000 people per day. The site is supported by the Bangpakok Samutprakarn Hospital as a service provider.
