On August 27, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, to visit the first COVID-19 vaccination dose service for Section 33 insured persons at the Robinson Lifestyle Shopping Center, Phetchaburi Branch, which can vaccinate 1,250 people daily. Mrs. Thiwalrat said that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, who oversees the Ministry of Labour and Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin, is concerned about the workforce and the general public amid the COVID-19 situation, promoting vaccinations as a national agenda. The Labour Minister assigned the Social Security Office to work with the Ministry of Interior, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Ministry of Public Health by the National Health Security Office (NHSO), the Ministry of Finance by Krung Thai Bank, and public and private social security networked hospitals to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to insured persons. The initiative aims to control the outbreak’s spread from spreading to a wide area in factories and establishments.
