Labour Minister Assigns Advisor to Visit COVID-19 Vaccination Services for Section 33 Insured Persons in Samut Sakhon

          On August 26, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Ministry of Labour’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat, to visit the area to present a certificate of appreciation to the private sector for their contribution in providing facilities and hospitals in the social security network for supporting medical personnel in the COVID-19 vaccinations to Section 33 insured persons. The occasion occurred at the Sinsakhon Industrial Estate, Muang District, Samut Sakhon, and Khlong Maduea Municipality, Krathum Baen District, Samut Sakhon. Mrs. Laddawan Onkampang, Director of the Industrial Estate, Mr. Somsak Tassanaruang, Marketing Manager of CAS Asset Co., Ltd., Mr. Anek Ketkaew, Deputy Mayor of Khlong Maduea, and a group of heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Samut Sakhon Province, gave the reception. Mrs. Thiwalrat said that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, who oversees the Ministry of Labour, is concerned about the workforce and the general public amid the COVID-19 situation, promoting vaccinations as a national agenda. The Labour Minister assigned the Social Security Office to work with the Ministry of Interior, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Ministry of Public Health by the National Health Security Office (NHSO), the Ministry of Finance by Krung Thai Bank, and public and private social security networked hospitals to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to insured persons. The initiative aims to control the outbreak’s spread from spreading to a wide area in factories and establishments.
          “Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned my team and me to visit the vaccination services for Section 33 insured persons and to present a plaque of appreciation to thank the private sector for supporting with facilities and to social security networked hospitals for supporting with medical personnel in providing COVID-19 vaccinations for Section 33 insured persons in Bangkok. The visit also encouraged the healthcare workers. The effort is one of the Ministry of Labour’s measures in prevention and treatment, by expediting vaccinations to insured persons following government policy to control the spread of COVID-19 and build immunity among workers for business to move forward,” concluded Mrs. Thiwalrat.
