Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, to commence the “model health organization project to improve the workforce’s life towards sustainability,” promoting organizations to develop in all dimensions.
On March 25, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong to chair the commencement of the “model health organization project to improve the quality of the workforce’s life towards sustainability,” promoting organizations to develop in all dimensions, to become a model organization where workers have a good quality of life, are happy and satisfied in their work. The efforts also aim to encourage workers to generate income, create happiness, stability, equality, and fairness, driving the nation to stability, prosperity, and sustainability. The event took place at the Novotel Marina Sriracha and Koh Si Chang Hotel, Chonburi Province. Mr. Surachai said that the project supports the Ministry of Labour’s missions in taking care of its personnel and workers to have a good quality of life. The government has been pushing forward this goal at the United Nations, to focus on people as the center of development, following the sufficiency economy philosophy.
“The Ministry of Labour, in collaboration with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation and the Change Leadership Association for Labour Development, launched the “model health organization project to improve the quality of the workforce’s life towards sustainability” project. The project invites establishments that are ready for health and safety and are ready for development towards sustainability in taking care of their workers’ quality of life. Today’s event is considered the launch or kick-off to drive model health organizations in Chonburi Province. There are 23 establishments participating in the pilot project,” concluded Mr. Surachai.
