Labour Minister Assigns Assistant to Trat to Drive MOL Policies

          On November 24, 2020, at 13.10 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong to chair the meeting of the head of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Trat province, to monitor the Minister of Labour’s missions, along with delivering the Ministry of Labour’s policies for 2021. The meeting also followed up on resolving labor problems following the orders by Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan. Trat Provincial Governor Mr. Pinyo Prakobphol and Trat Deputy Provincial Governor Mr. Nataphong Sanguanchit gave welcoming at the Ploy Daeng meeting room, 4th floor, Trat City Hall.
          Trat has a workforce of 179,590 people. A total of 91,461 are informal workers, mostly working in agriculture. There are 1,357 companies registered in the social security system, with 15,546 insured persons; 15,686 insured persons under Section 33, 3,551 insured persons under Section 39, and 23,040 insured persons under Section 40. There is one contracted hospital with the Social Security Office, which is a government medical facility.
