The Labour Minister assigned the Assistant to the Labour Minister to visit Prachinburi, to meet with heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour and listen to issues, the drive of important labour policies, along with tracking employment of Thai people with jobs and skill development (upskill).
On October 21, 2020, at 09.00 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong and the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Pairoj Chotiksetian to pay an official visit to Prachinburi to monitor progress on the Ministry of Labour’s missions along with meeting of the heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour, in Prachinburi. The visiting party also listened to a briefing on important labour policies and drivers, including problems and obstacles in the area. The meeting took place at the meeting room of the Prachinburi Skill Development Office.
Mr. Surachai visited the booths and missions of agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Prachinburi, such as labour skill standard assessments, promotion of non-formal worker occupational groups, and employment of Thai people to have jobs, for example.
The Assistant to the Labour Minister also visited and listened to a briefing on the performance of Janome Die Casting (Thailand) and skills development (upskill).
