Labour Minister Awards Contestants of 43rd Toyota Dealer Customer Service Skills Contest

   On November 24, 2019, at 11.00 hours, Labour Minister M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul presided over the award and closing ceremony for the final round of the 43rd Toyota Dealer Customer Service Skills Contest. Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol participated in the ceremony at the Toyota Education and Training Center, Suwinthawong Road, Mueang, Chachoengsao. The Labour Minister said that the Toyota Dealer Customer Service Skills Contest is a platform that allows Toyota dealers to demonstrate their post-sales customer service skills and abilities. It is an activity that encourages employees to develop their work performance up to international standards, resulting in continuously improved service quality. It is also an example of a good mechanism to improve the potential of the Thai workforce towards workforce transformation, resulting in increased labour productivity and national income. The initiative also helps to drive the country towards stability, prosperity and sustainability, following government policies.

 


The contest is held annually, whereby this event was the 43rd time. It reflects the dedication and attention of the Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd’s management team, which gives importance to the transfer of skills and knowledge among the employees. The company also promotes diligence, practice and experience to apply to work. Furthermore, the Labour Minister visited the booths at the final round of the 43rd Toyota Dealer Customer Service Skills Contest.
            The final round of the 43rd Toyota Dealer Customer Service Skills Contest organized a total of 8 competition categories, consisting of call center, customer relations, auto parts, technicians, auto body repair, paint repair, body and paint managers and service managers.
