Labour Minister Inspects Covid-19 Vaccination Center for Section 33 Insured Persons at Thai Football Factory and Reports 87.09 Percent Progress on Vaccinations

            Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin visited and gave words of encouragement to Section 33 insured persons receiving Covid-19 vaccinations at the vaccination center at Thai Sporting Goods Factory Co., Ltd., Chalongkrung Road. He reported that in the past four days, a total of 174,193 people has been vaccinated, which is 87.09 percent from the target of 50,000 people per day.

            On June 11, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin visited the Covid-19 Vaccination Center for Insured Persons in Bangkok at the Thai Sporting Goods Factory Co., Ltd., Chalongkrung Road. The site is under the responsibility of the Bangkok Social Security Office Area 10 and can vaccinate up to 1,000 people daily. There is a team of doctors, nurses, and pharmacists from Nawamin 1 Hospital as the operator. Advisor to the Labour Minister, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, the Labour Minister’s Secretariat Mr. Suthep Chitvong, the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics), Mrs. Thienrat Navamawat, Chairman of the Federation of Thailand Automobile Workers Union Mr. Manit Promkarikul, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives participated in the inspection visit. Mr. Kamol Chokphaiboonkit, Chairman of the Board of the Thai Sporting Goods Factory Co., Ltd., welcomed the committee following up on the progress of vaccinations. In the past four days, 174,193 people have been vaccinated, accounting for 87.09 percent of the target set for 50,000 people per day, or 200,000 people vaccinated in four days.

            “In vaccinating Section 33 insured persons, the government and the Ministry of Labour intend to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in workplaces so that various businesses can continue,” concluded Mr. Suchart.
