On September 17, 2019, at 21.00 hours, Labour Minister M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul joined the phone calls for money donations with the Cabinet, to raise funds to help victims of the “Podul and Kajiki” tropical storms. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul received the funds totaling 1,300,000 Baht (one million three hundred thousand Baht) through the special program “Thailand joining together to help the flooding”, broadcasted on Channel 9, MCOT HD No. 30. Prime Minister and Defense Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha presided over the acceptance of the donation. The fund will provide opportunities for people from all sectors to participate in helping those affected by the “Podul and Kajiki” tropical storms, through the “Disaster Relief Fund of the Office of the Prime Minister”, Krung Thai Bank Account, Government House Branch, Account No. 067-0-06895-0, Operations Building, MCOT Public Company Limited, Rama 9 Road, Huai Khwang, Bangkok.
