On August 6, 2019, at 18.30 hours, Labour Minister M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul and Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suradej Waleeittikul celebrated Singapore’s 54th National Day at the Shangri-La Hotel. Singaporean Ambassador to Thailand Mr. Kevin Cheok chaired the event. Singapore’s National Day is on August 9 of each year, in commemoration of Singapore’s independence from Malaysia in the year 1965.
