August 7, 2025, 9.30 hours – Mr. Pongkawin Jungrungruangkit, Minister of Labour, welcomed H.E. Mrs. Edirisinghe Arachchilage Sriyani Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to Thailand, and her delegation. The meeting aimed to enhance bilateral relations and foster closer cooperation in the field of labour. Also joining the discussion were Mr. Kittiphon Ruayfuphan, Deputy Chairman of the Minister’s Advisory Committee, Lt. Cdr. Vittavat Koodprasert, Advisor to the Labour Minister, Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Somchai Morakotsriwan, Director-General of the Department of Employment, Lt. Cdr. Saroj Khomkhai, Director-General of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Mr. Phatthawut Phesala, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Skill Development, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Labour. The meeting took place at the Chatumongkol Room, 6th floor.
