Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong to visit Chonburi to inspect and give encouragement during the proactive Covid-19 screening at the workplace.
On May 12, 2021, at 08.00 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong and committee to inspect and give encouragement to employees getting tested for Covid-19 at a workplace in Chonburi. Chief Executive Officer of A-One Group and Mytt Beach Hotel Mr. Somchai Ratanaopas, the management of Pattaya City and the management of Phyathai Sriracha Hospital, also attended the reception at A-One, The Royal Cruise Hotel, Pattaya, Chonburi Province. The Assistant to the Labour Minister gave a briefing on the proactive Covid-19 screening in the workplace.
Mr. Surachai said that the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha are concerned about the workforce amid the Covid-19 outbreak due to the widespread of the pandemic and the increasing infection rate. Therefore, the Ministry of Labour, under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, was instructed to expand proactive Covid-19 testing facilities to establishments to accelerate control over the outbreak in dark red areas, such as Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakan, Chon Buri, Rayong, Samut Sakhon, and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned him to Chonburi today to inspect and encourage the employees and workers, providing the proactive Covid-19 tests for employees at a company. He also encouraged staff and healthcare workers, including representatives from 6 companies with insured persons under Section 33, who were tested. A total of 346 people were screened, including 28 people from A-One Pattaya Co., Ltd., 27 people from A-One Pattaya Co., Ltd., Mit Beach Hotel branch, 56 people from Wanyi Co., Ltd., two people from Wanyi Co., Ltd., A-One Pattaya Beach Resort Branch, 38 people from Si Hun Co., Ltd., and 95 people from Wantamit Co., Ltd.
