The Labour Minister welcomed Mr. Mad Ma-min’s family, an interpreter to the Labour Office in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh), to give the family money from the Welfare Fund of the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour, to help and support the family.
September 21, 2020, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin welcomed Mrs. Anurak Ma-min, wife of Mr. Mad Ma-min, and family, to receive money from the Welfare Fund of the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour, to help and support the family. The occasion took place at the Chatumongkol Room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labor Building. Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol, Deputy Permanent Secretary Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat, and Advisor to Chula Rama Dr. Kasit Srisanga, Bangkok Hospital, Mr. Prida Chuaphandee also attended the occasion. Mr. Mad Ma-min was an interpreter at the Saudi Arabia Labour Office (Riyadh). He died from a lung infection. His Majesty the King gave the grounds for a special burial on September 19 at Bustanul Arifin Mosque, Khlong Si Wa Phra Ajarn, Koh Ka, Bang Nam Priao, Chachoengsao. The Labour Minister said that the Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha had been concerned for the family of Mr. Mad Ma-min, an interpreter from the Saudi Arabi Labour Office (Riyadh), who had lost a family’s pillar. Therefore, the Ministry of Labour was assigned to take care of the family. Today, they presented money from the Welfare Fund of the Office of the Permanent Secretary to help and encourage Mr. Mad’s family in the initial phase.
Mr. Mad Ma-min has been an interpreter for the Ministry of Labour for over 20 years, in Saudi Arabia and territories in Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon, helping many Thai people who were sick to return home during the Covid-19 pandemic. He successfully helped the people and eventually fell ill himself from a lung infection from drug-resistant bacteria. He returned to Thailand to heal until he eventually passed away in Thailand.
