On January 29, 2020, at 11.00 hours, Labour Minister M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul, the Department of Skill Development’s Director-General Mr. Tawat Benchatikul, the Social Security Office’s Deputy Secretary Ms. Aumpun Thuvavit, the Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-General Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat and the Ministry of Labour’s executives, visited the Ubon Ratchathani Social Security Office located at 317/1 Phalachai Road, Nai Mueang, Mueang, Ubon Ratchathani.
The Labour Minister received a briefing on operations of urgent policies and guidelines for driving the social security network throughout Thailand through the villages, temples, schools, and factories of the Ubon Ratchathani Social Security Office. At present, Ubon Ratchathani has 4,041 employers, 72,910 employees/insurers under Section 33 of the Social Security Act, and 58,826 people insured under Section 39 and 40.
