Labour Minister Receives Donations from CPF to Support Medical Personnel Administering Covid-19 Vaccinations for Insured Persons

          The Labour Minister received ready-to-eat food from CPF to support medical personnel vaccinating insured persons at 45 locations in Bangkok. The efforts will help build immunity, control, and prevent the spread of Covid-19 from moving beyond the situation together.

          On June 4, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin received ready-to-eat food from Chief Executive Officer Mr. Prasit Boonduangprasert and Chief Human Resources Officer Mr. Phimonrat Repattana Wichitkul, from Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CPF). The donation was worth over 6 million Baht to support medical personnel and Social Security Office staff providing vaccination services for insured people at 45 locations throughout Bangkok. The occasion took place at the Chatumongkol Room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labour. Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, the Labour Minister’s Secretariat Mr. Suthep Chitayawong, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives joined the occasion.

          Mr. Suchart said that from the Covid-19 situation, the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha and Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, who oversees the Ministry of Labour, is concerned about the insured persons under Section 33 of the Social Security System. The Ministry of Labour’s Social Security Office was instructed to work with the Prime Minister’s Office, Center of the Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), the Ministry of Public Health, and hospitals in the Social Security Office’s network to distribute vaccines to insured persons under Section 33 in 45 locations throughout Bangkok.

          “Today, the Ministry of Labour thanks the private sector, such as CPF for joining forces with the government by supporting ready-to-eat meals to medical personnel and Social Security Office staff providing vaccinations to insured persons. Relevant parties have worked together with dedication and sacrifice to comprehensively administer vaccinations to immunize insured persons, to control and prevent the spread of Covid-19. Today’s food will be distributed to medical personnel and staff under the Social Security Office, providing vaccination services for insured people at 45 locations across Bangkok. The food delivery starts from June 7th onwards to help ease the burden and boost morale in the fight against the Covid-19, to overcome this situation together,” concluded Mr. Suchart.
