Labour Minister Receives Rice from DENSO Thailand to Help Workers Fight COVID-19

          On August 16, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin received 2,000 bags of rice weighing 5 kilograms each, totaling 10,000 kilograms, from Mr. Amphol Hompluem, Executive Director of DENSO Group Thailand. The occasion took place at the Chatumongkol Room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labour. Mr. Suchart said that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Prime Minister and Defense Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha and Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, who oversees the Ministry of Labour, is concerned about the workforce and the general public amid the COVID-19 outbreaks.

          “Today, the Ministry of Labour thanked private sector companies like DENSO Group Thailand for joining forces with the government and supporting 2,000 bags of rice weighing 5 kilograms each. The Ministry of Labour will deliver donations to help workers affected by COVID-19. The donations help lighten the burden and build morale in the fight against COVID-19, to overcome this situation together,” concluded Mr. Suchart.
