Labour Minister Visits Phatthalung to Commence the Three-Generations People Expo for Health Care

                The Labour Minister commenced the “Three-Generations People Expo for Health Care” project in Phatthalung to build knowledge and understanding of public health care and promote exercise for good health, free from Covid-19.

                Today (September 25, 2020) at 16.00 hours, Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan assigned Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin to chair the commencement of the “Three-Generations People Expo for Health Care” project in Phatthalung. He also presented good health certificates to the elderly in 11 districts and Phatthalung Municipality at the Central Stadium, Phatthalung. My Suchart Chimklin said, “Since February 2020 until now, all countries of the world have faced the Covid-19 pandemic, causing anxiety around the world. There have been shutdowns of cities and countries to prevent the spread of the disease. Many businesses are directly or indirectly affected, some having to reduce their workforce through layoffs or shutdowns. The Covid-19 outbreak In Thailand has improved under the administration of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, which oversees the Ministry of Labour. The aim is to accelerate economic recovery after the Covid-19 situation by implementing the policy “unite Thailand to build a nation” as a driving force.”

                “The Phatthalung Provincial Administrative Organization has organized the “Three-Generations People Expo for Health Care” in Phatthalung, to build knowledge and understanding of public health care, and promote exercise for health. Health care is important for everyone. When people are healthy and free from diseases, it reduces the burden on public health expenses. Moreover, this project also creates the love and unity of the people in Phatthalung. It’s Considered a great project.”

                The project was organized to promote cooperation of government organizations, the private sector, and the public network for health care. The objective is to build knowledge and understanding of public health care, giving people from the three generations to exercise for their health in Phatthalung. The people will also receive basic public health services. The event aims to create the love and unity of the people in Phatthalung. The target groups participating in the project consisted of 2,500 children and youths, 2,000 working-age people, 2,000 elderly people, totaling 6,500 people from the three generations.
