On January 17, 2020, at 10.00 hours, Labour Minister M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul and the Ministry of Labour’s executives welcomed Cambodia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Thailand, Mr. Ouk Sorphorn and committee, on courtesy call and to discuss official matters. The meeting took place at the Saengsingkaew conference room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Thailand congratulated the Ministry of Labour on raising the minimum wage rate in 2020 to workers throughout the country. He expressed hope that Cambodian workers will have a better life and discussed employment and management of Cambodian workers in Thailand as well.
