Labour Minister Welcomes Diplomatic Delegation to Royal Project Agricultural Research and Development Center in Chiang Mai

May 19, 2025, 10.00 hours – Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labour, welcomed Mr. Paolo Dionisi, Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Thailand, Mr. Park Yong-min, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Thailand, Mr. Otaka Masato, Ambassador of Japan to Thailand, and Ms. Wong Siow Ping Catherine, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to Thailand, along with their delegations, on the occasion of their study visit to the Royal Project Agricultural Research and Development Center, Chanokathibesra Damri, in Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province. The reception was also attended by Air Chief Marshal Athikun Kongmee, Advisor to the Minister on Illegal Worker Management, Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Decha Pruksapatnarak, Director-General of the Department of Skill Development, Mr. Phatthawut Phesala, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Skill Development, and Ms. Thipawan Rueangbun, Royal Project Foundation volunteer, also joined the welcoming. The Chanokathibesra Damri Royal Project Agricultural Research and Development Center serves as a hub for highland research and development, with the aim of preserving, continuing, and advancing the royal initiatives of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great. These initiatives are intended to benefit the highland populations, surrounding communities, and the broader Thai public.
