On October 17, 2019, at 08.30 hours, Labour Minister M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul welcomed President of IM Japan Mr. Kyoei Yanagisawa and committee on courtesy call and to congratulate the Labour Minister on appointment to his new position. Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol and the ministry’s executives also joined the occasion, which took place at the Saengsingkaew conference room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
On this occasion, President of IM Japan Mr. Kyoei Yanagisawa led the management team of Kyoritsu Group to pay a courtesy call, on the occasion that the executives joined the official opening of the Dormy Residences Sriracha project in Chonburi. The Kyoritsu Group operates hotels, resorts, and residences throughout Japan, and has real estate investments overseas, such as South Korea, Taiwan, Myanmar, and Thailand. Japan is considering expanding branches to recruit foreign technical trainees in the hospitality field. If accepted, this business group will be able to recruit many Thai people to train in Japan.
In addition, he introduced the IM Japan Graduate Association, which are examples of IM Japan trainee graduates who have become business owner. He also presented the IM Young Ambassador Project No. 72562, which invited 20 Thai vocational students to participate in the 7th IM Young Ambassadors Project from October 22 to November 2, 2019, joining activities in Japan for 11 days. The President requested cooperation from the Ministry of Labour to support public relations for the internship program within educational institutions in other provinces, to arrange for testing and selection in various regions and continuously promote the project on various media channels to enable Thai youths to get to know and apply for the IM Japan, which is an ongoing training program.
