On October 30, 2020, at 14.30 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin welcomed Ms. Asada-Miyakawa, Regional Director for the ILO Office for Asia and the Pacific, on a courtesy call and to discuss national programs on decent work in Thailand. The meeting also discussed government remedial measures and employment stimulus plans in the Covid situation, social protection and social security under the circumstances of Covid-19, progress on the ratification of Conventions No. 87 and 98. Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong and Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol joined the reception at the Chatumongkol Room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labour.
