Representatives of the Thai-Cambodia Border Trade and Tourism Association in Chanthaburi, met with the Labour Minister to propose opening the first center for employment and termination of employment in Chanthaburi, at Ban Laem permanent border crossing point, Thepnimit, Pong Nam Ron, Chanthaburi.
On September 8, 2020, at 15.00 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin and Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat welcomed the President of the Thailand-Cambodia Border Trade and Tourism Association in Chanthaburi Dr. Rattawit Tangkiatpachara. The meeting discussed the Ministry of Labour to consider opening the first center for employment and termination of employment in Chanthaburi at the permanent border crossing point in Ban Laem, Thepnimit, Pong Nam Ron, Chanthaburi. The center is designed to facilitate companies in the eastern region in the registration of migrant workers. The meeting took place at the Chatumongkol Room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labour.
