Labour Minister’s Advisor Meets Ban Ton Aman Coconut Processing Community Enterprise in Narathiwas

           On November 28, 2019, at 13.30 hours, Advisor to the Labour Minister Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet visited the independent worker group at Ban Ton Aman Coconut Processing Community Enterprise. President and member of the Ban Ton Aman Coconut Processing Community Enterprise Mrs. Jeporor Bin Hama welcomed the visiting committee. Narathiwat Provincial Labour Officer Mr. Boon-loi Khatilil and Director from the Office of Inspection and Evaluation Ms. Pattraporn Samatrat also joined the occasion. The event took place at Ban Ton Aman Coconut Processing Community Enterprise Group at 333/1 Moo 1, Khok Khian Subdistrict, Mueang Narathiwat, Narathiwat.

The Ban Ton Aman Coconut Processing Community Enterprise joined the project to increase labour productivity to SMEs 4.0 in 2019. The Ministry of Labour by the Narathiwat Institute for Skill Development 25 and agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Narathiwat joined an in-depth consultation with the group. The meeting discussed labour development potential to increase productivity as well as providing consultation on the principles of control and maintenance of machinery for baking coconuts to improving electrical systems to control energy use efficiently and safely. Currently, there are 25 members, with an average monthly income of 10,000 Baht.
