Labour Minister’s Advisor Meets Participants in Training to Promote Returning Thai Workers from Abroad

On February 23, 2020, at 13.00 hours, Advisor to the Labour Minister Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet visited participants of the training program on the promotion of returning Thai workers to localities. Nakhon Phanom Provincial Employment Officer Mr. Chak Samutklin led the visit. The target of the operation is towards 50 Thai workers returning from abroad in Nakhon Phanom province. It selects those who have succeeded in working abroad to transfer knowledge to the participants who have worked abroad. Aside from providing knowledge to prepare Thai workers before going abroad, the program also supports workers returning from work abroad after the contract is expired so that they can adapt to their localities with a stable career and a good quality of life. According to statistics in 2009, 3,819 Thai workers in Nakhon Phanom traveled to work abroad. The meeting took place at the Rom Pho Meeting Room, Na Thon Sub-district Administration Organization, That Phanom District, Nakhon Phanom Province.
