Labour Minister’s Advisor Visits Disabled Insurers to Give Encouragement and Goods in Nakhon Sawan

                  On February 3, 3030, at 13.30 hours, Advisor to the Labour Minister Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet traveled to Nakhon Sawan to visit, give words of encouragement, and distributed goods to 3 people with disabilities. Nakhon Sawan Labour Officer Mr. Samart Pathamasukhon, Nakhon Sawan Employment Officer Mr. Decha Pruekphattananarak, Director of Nakorn Sawan 8 Skill Development Institute Mrs. Chanyaphat Sunthonphol, Nakhon Sawan Social Security Officer Ms. Wattana Kerdphet, Nakhon Sawan Labour Protection and Welfare Officer Mrs. Malee Narakawat and Director of the District Safety Center Area 6 Mr. Wachin Thippayasothi also joined the occasion.

                  The first insurer was Mr. Winid Khongphetchasak, an insurer under Section 33, aged 58, residing at house number 43/6, Moo 10, Phanom Rok, Tha Tako, Nakhon Sawan, living with his family. He was insured with the Bangkok Animal Feed Products Co., Ltd., on September 10, 1993, and Pontex (Thailand) Co., Ltd., on February 21, 2004, to May 20, 2006. He has a history of illness since May 4, 2005, due to a stroke in the brain. His current physical condition is that his body is weak in his left limbs and can manage daily activities by himself. The subcommittee’s resolution confirmed his disability status from June 27, 2006. He receives compensation for incomes of 4,249.50 Baht per month, medical expenses of 3,516 Baht, a monthly transportation allowance of 500 Baht, a pension fund totaling 26,703.64 Baht, totaling 760,954.74 Baht.

                  The second insurer was Mr. Supachai Sripraison, an insurer under Section 33, aged 30, residing at house number 20/1, Moo 3, Hua Thanon, Tha Tako, Nakhon Sawan, whereby his parents are his caretakers. He was insured with Nakhon Sawan AN Steam Co., Ltd., on April 3 to 6, 2007, Chalermkarnchang by Mr. Chalerm Plongboon on July 3 to September 30, 2007, Por Chareon Lohaphan by Mrs. Chanchira Plongboon on July 1 to November 4, 2009, and Phetphicha Co., Ltd. on March 1 to May 30, 2014. He became ill from broken bones and nerve compression, whereby his current physical conditions are that he does not have feelings from his knees down to the toes. Mr. Supachai can eat on his own but requires someone to assist in his daily activities. Doctors estimate a permanent loss of body function by 93 percent; he became a person of disability from November 6, 2015. He receives 180 months of compensation for disability, at 5,460 Baht per month, payment for lack of income for 12 months, for a total of 56,160 Baht, a pension fund of 1,355 Baht, totaling 303,568.20 Baht.

                  The third insurer was Mr. Charae Kaewprai, an insurer under Section 39, aged 66, currently residing at No. 70, Moo 6, Hua Thanon, Tha Tako, Nakhon Sawan, with his wife who looks after him. He was insured with the Tako Bus Federation Co., Ltd. From July 1, 1992, to March 31, 1994, and another two companies until March 1, 2006. He was an insurer under Section 39 on October 1, 2006, to April 24, 2019. He became ill on July 13-14, 2010, from a stroke. His current physical condition is a weakness in both legs. The subcommittee’s resolution confirmed his disability status on January 10, 2018. He receives compensation for incomes of 2,400 Baht per month, a monthly transportation allowance of 500 Baht, a pension fund totaling 77,536.07 Baht, totaling 136,896.07 Baht.
