On September 5, 2019, at 20.00 hours, Loei Provincial Labour Director Ms. Sukanya Ongwisetpaibool, assigned Labour Operations Academic Ms. Kemika Yarasit and Labour Academic Ms. Sunisa Singwee, alongside staff from the Loei Office of Employment and Office of Labour Protection and Welfare, to inspect organizations to prevent human trafficking. The effort was in collaboration with the Loei human trafficking prevention unit, whereby 2 karaoke stores in Nong Hin were inspected. There were 6 Thai workers and 1 Laotian worker. The inspection found that the Laotian worker had the right permits to work, and there were no illegal or human trafficking activities.
