Minister-Counsellor (Labour), Japan Labour Office, introduces herself to JITCO executives

On 13 September 2011, Mrs. Chantana Boon-arj, the Minister-Counsellor (Labour), the Office of Labour Affairs in Japan, together with Mrs. Metika Sattanusorn, Counsellor (Labour) and Mrs. Malee Wada, the assistant in foreign employment promotion, paid a visit to the executives of Japan International Training Cooperation Organization (JITCO) to introduce herself as the new Minister-Counsellor (Labour) in Japan.
 
1. Mr. Kensuke Tsuzuki, Senior Vice-President, together with Mr. Tsuneyuki Tanaka, Manager, and Ms. Yuko Okamura, Assistant Manager, Second International Affairs Division, International Affairs Department, welcomed the group.
 
2. The Minister-Counsellor (Labour) informed that it is her first mission in duty to pay a visit to JITCO as JITCO is a highly important organization in foreign trainee recruitment and that the Office of Labour Affairs in Japan, as the representative of the Thai Ministry of Labour, is willing to cooperate with JITCO in all aspects to promote and improve Thai traineeship.
 
3. Mr. Kensuke Tsuzuki mentioned the cooperation with the Ministry of Labour in overseeing Thai trainee recruitment. The JITCO sends its delegates to Thailand to pay a visit to the MOL executives, have an annual meeting with the Department of Employment, and held a conference to clarify the traineeship program every year. In the past year, the JITCO delegates led by the President went to Thailand to undertake such missions, and for this year the delegates will be led by Mr. Kensuke Tsuzuki. The Minister-Counsellor (Labour) stated that the coordination with the MOL and the JITCO delegates will be fully supported.
