MOL Advisory Committee Meets to Improve the Classification of Occupational and Industrial Standards

          On March 22, 2021, at 09.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Niyom Songkaew chaired the Advisory Committee’s meeting to improve the classification of occupational and industrial standards No. 1/2021. The meeting took place at the Tien Achakul meeting room, 10th floor, Department of Employment. The meeting considered the following: 1. Draft definition of occupations in food and beverage production, arts, entertainment and recreation, production and distribution of musical instruments, sports, games, and toys. 2. Revision of the order to appoint a subcommittee to consider and amend the draft definition of occupation and industry in finance, insurance, and other financial activities. 3. Draft an order to appoint a subcommittee to consider revising the draft definition of occupation and industry in wholesale, retail, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles. 4. Draft an order to appoint a working group to revise the definition of occupation and industry in food and beverages. 5. Draft an order to appoint a working group to revise the definition of occupation and industry in science and related professions.
