MOL and Amarin Group Organize Blood Donations in Honour of His Majesty the King

           The Ministry of Labour joined Amarin Group organized the sixth blood donation, out of 15 occasions. The event aims to help patients and those suffering from hazards at work, as well as encouraging people to realize the sacrifice and good deeds without expecting returns. It is also an expression of the loyalty of everyone, in honour of the royal coronation 2019.

 

 

            Today (September 16, 2019), Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol assigned Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Tawat Benchatikul presided over the opening ceremony of the seventh Ministry of Labour blood donation in honour of the royal coronation. President of Amarin Printing and Placing Leasing PCL Mr. Rarin Utaphan Panjarungroj gave a report. The Ministry of Labour’s senior executives also joined the occasion which took place at Amarin Printing and Publishing PCL, Taling Chan, Bangkok. The Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General said that on the auspicious occasion of the royal coronation in 2019, the Ministry of Labour had determined the activities of the Ministry of Labour to join blood donations in honour of the coronation. It has collaborated with government agencies and private organizations to organize events to honour and continue the royal aspiration of His Majesty the King, who wishes to develop the country for prosperity and ensure the people have a better life. He said that His Majesty the King coronated on May 4, 2019, said that “we will continue to preserve, extend and occupy the land fairly, for the benefit of the people forever.”

            Mr. Tawat further said that this activity is the seventh time from the target 15 times, which takes place at the Ministry of Labour, government offices and organizations both centrally and regionally, between May 2019 to April 2020. The blood donations aim to fulfill the King’s royal command and determination in improving the quality of life of the people, supporting the blood supply to the Thai Red Cross in helping people who are injured at work. The activities are also a campaign to encourage those who participate in realizing the sacrifice and good deeds without expecting rewards, as well as being an expression of loyalty. The blood donations have received excellent cooperation and support from organizations and the Thai Red Cross. The past six events had a total of 1,740 registered users, and 1,522 units of blood received, equivalent to 608,800 cc.
