MOL Commences Training Program to Support and Create Public Participation for Anti-Corruption in “Labour Eyes” Project

          On July 29, 2020, at 08.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol assigned Academic Labour Advisor Mrs. Napasorn Toongsooksai presided over the opening ceremony of the training program to support and create public participation in combating corruption, called “Labour Eyes,” activity 2 on developing skills for people and networks of labour volunteers who have been trained in anti-corruption, together with the Ministry of Labour, to boost their skills as an efficient communicator. The meeting took place at the Praewa Room, at the Loft Resort. She said that this training is a good opportunity for the Ministry of Labour to create important mechanisms to jointly drive the development of a nationwide network of people in the public relations, surveillance, and prevention of fraud, as well as raising awareness among people in the area about the preservation of national interests to eliminate corruption in Thai society.

          For the said training, the objective is to create a mechanism for participation among the public, volunteer workers, organizations, and workers to be a surveillance network in the area to prevent fraud. It also aims to develop skills for people and a labour volunteer networks who have been trained in anti-corruption, together with the Ministry of Labour, to have skills in being a guest speaker to be able to transfer knowledge and continue to raise awareness on anti-corruption and misconduct to the local people.
