On March 11, 2021, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Prateep Songlamyong, presided over the opening ceremony of a workshop to raise awareness to improve informal workers’ quality of life in agriculture. The initiative follows the annual government action plan for 2021 of the upper northern provinces in group 2 of Nan Province. The workshop aims to raise awareness and improve the quality of life of informal workers in agriculture, with target groups consisting of labour volunteers, labour networks, informal agricultural workers, and leaders of the informal labour sector in the 15 districts of Nan Province. Participants totaled 200 people, whereby the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General gave a lecture on “Driving the Ministry of Labour’s informal labour policy.” The occasion took place at The Impress Nan Hotel in Mueang Nan District.
