MOL Committee Considering Operation of Foreign Private Organizations Meets for 5/2020

          On September 24, 2020 at 13.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol chaired the committee meeting for considering the operation of foreign private organizations no. 5/2020. The occasion took place at the Tien Achakul meeting room, 10th floor, Department of Employment. The meeting considered the following:

  1. Foreign private organizations request an extension of the period of operation and accepting new employees, totaling 7 organizations, including:
  • Sikkha Asia Foundation
  • Federation of Asian Veterinary Associations (FAVA)
  • The Max Foundation
  • Reiyukai (Thailand) Foundation
  • Summer Institute of Linguitstics, Inc.
  • Friedrich Naumann Foundation For Freedom
  • The International Commission of Jurists: ICJ
  1. Foreign NGOs request new employees, a change of attorney, position, and location, and adding objectives totaling 12 organizations, including:
  • International Institute for Energy Conservation-IIEC
  • HelpAge International
  • National University Corporation Kyoto University
  • CARE
  • Save the Children International
  • Family Health International: FHI
  • Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center
  • Plan International, Inc.
  • Hanns Seidel Foundation – Indochina Regional Office
  • Korea Agro-Trade Center, Bangkok
  • Jesuit Refugee Service Asia Pacific: JRS-AP
  • Operation Underground Railroad, Inc.
