MOL Concludes Training for Personnel Before Taking on Position as Provincial Heads

            On August 20, 2021, at 16.30 hours, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Niyom Songkaew presided over the closing ceremony for the training course on “Preparing Personnel Before Taking on Position of Provincial Head,” online. The occasion occurred online at the Human Resources Management Division’s meeting room, 10th floor, Ministry of Labour. He said that he was honoured to preside over the closing ceremony of the training and was pleased to hear from the project manager’s report that this training was successful and met its objectives. On this occasion, he left thoughts for the participants to consider. He said that on the path of the administration, executives tend to face different obstacles. The following are the qualities that a good manager needs to smoothly move on the management path. It includes stability and success means, that is to have a strong mind, patience, sacrifice, dedication, determination, and perform duties with honesty, fairness, and integrity, with the goal of success in performing duties that enhance the benefits and happiness of the people, and the nation at the center. This training is not the only one that concludes, and people go their different ways without using their learnings in practice. He said that he hopes that all participants in this batch will work together to develop a strong network and solidarity, an important force in driving the Ministry of Labour’s missions forward.

           This training course started on August 16, 2021, and ends today. The total duration of training throughout the course is five days, with 19 trainees who are civil servants from the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Labor and one from the Minister’s Office.
