On September 8, 2020, at 14.30 hours, Deputy Labour Minister Prof. Narumon Pinyosinwat, the Department of Skill Development’s Director-General Mr. Tawat Benchatikul, and the working committee welcomed the Director of the National Village and Urban Community Fund Mr. Rakpong Sengcharoen, and team, to discuss assistance in workforce skill development and expansions through the Fund, in the form of skill development from foundations to sustainable economic development. The meeting took place at the Saengsingkaew conference room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
The Office of the Village and Urban Community Fund will work together with the Department of Skill Development in coordinating with the Office of Skill Development in each area to provide speakers to meet the needs of each community. For details and operational plans, the Director-General of the Department of Skill Development and committee was assigned to have a discussion with the Fund Office to cooperate and set areas for further pilot operations.
