On March 13, 2020, at 17.00 hours, Labour Minister M.R. Chatu Mongol Sonakul chaired a meeting to discuss ways to expedite the labour crisis in the Thai retail system, which took place at the Prasong Rananant Conference Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. The meeting considered the remedy and resolution to labour problems, affected by the changing economic conditions in modern times. The meeting also allowed the Thai retail business groups to integrate appropriate employment, in line with economic conditions, which will create a balance between employers and employees, as well as help to maintain employment conditions to the point of economic recovery in the future.
