Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklim assigned his Advisor to Samut Songkhram to monitor the project to expand employment opportunities for vulnerable groups and occupational promotion activities for the elderly to meet their own needs. The Advisor joined social activities to strengthen physical, mental, and emotional health, realizing one’s value and potential for a good quality of life.
On March 24, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to monitor the project to expand employment opportunities for the elderly and occupational promotion activities for the elderly in Samut Songkhram at Ban Suan Nukul Community Enterprise, Moo 4, Tai Hat, Mueang Samut Songkhram, Samut Songkhram. Mrs. Thiwalrat said that the government attaches great importance to improving the informal workers’ quality of life, women, the elderly, people with disabilities, and vulnerable groups to have work, occupation, income, and security in life.
Mrs. Thiwalrat said that today, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned her to Samut Songkhram to monitor the project to expand job opportunities for the elderly and occupational promotion activities for the elderly in Samut Songkhram. There were 20 senior participants being trained in this activity to promote the elderly to a career that meets their own needs. She joined in social activities promoting physical, mental, and emotional health, self-worth, and potential, leading to a better quality of life. Training courses on “traditional Thai dessert-making” was organized from March 24 to 25, 2021. This training will enable the trainees to use their knowledge to work in additional occupations, increase their income, and further enhance their opportunities in work, promoting self-employment for the elderly, people with disabilities, and vulnerable groups in the area, to have income, rely on themselves and to have a better quality of life as well.
