On Monday, August 3, 2020, at 09.00 hours, Governor of Nakhon Sawan Province Mr. Athaporn Singhavichai, Deputy Provincial Governor Mr. Preecha Dejphan, and president of the Nakhon Sawan Red Cross Office Mrs. Prapawadee Singhawichai observed activities of the support center for employees whose employment has been terminated by Body Fashion Thailand Co., Ltd., Nakhon Sawan Branch. The support was complete with survival bags to alleviate the suffering faced by employees. Nakorn Sawan Labour Office Mr. Samart Pattamasukon gave a welcoming and led the visit to observe the service provided. He revealed that the activities of the support center are an integrated effort among departments under the Ministry of Labour in Nakhon Sawan, including the Nakhon Sawan Social Development and Human Security Office and the Nakhon Sawan Red Cross Office together. The center was opened by the two parties, aimed to support employees whose employment was terminated by Body Fashion Thailand Co., Ltd., Nakhon Sawan Branch, totaling 753 people. The center aims to aid the families in need. The event today prepared 800 sets of survival bags, with cooked food and beverages, and took place at the public hall in front of Nakhon Sawan City Hall (the new building).
In addition, Nakhon Sawan Employment Officer Mr. Decha Pruekphathanarak invited Bogartlanger (Thailand) Co., Ltd. from Samut Prakan, looking to fill vacancies in Nakhon Sawan and nearby provinces, with a total of 941 positions, to carry out recruitment activities. Director of the Nakhon Sawan Skill Development Institute 8 Mrs. Chanyapatch Sunthonpholchet also joined the event to offer services to those interested in applying for vocational training as needed. The event also hosted consultation services to increased labour productivity and to take applications for standardized skills testing. Nakhon Sawan Social Security Officer Ms. Wattana Kerdpetch provided registration services in the event of unemployment, as well as accepting grievances and giving advice on unemployment benefits and applications for Section 39 and Section 40, to the employees who have suffered from unemployment from Body Fashion Thailand Co., Ltd., Nakorn Sawan Branch.
